Hey guys, and hello to all of my brand-spankin' new followers! Welcome, and make yourselves comfy. I hope you stay a while! :D
Today I have the absolutely stunning look that Kristen Stewart sported at the NYC Twilight Eclipse screening back in 2010. If you have green eyes, then you must, no scratch that--you NEED to wear this out! It will make your eyes stand out for sure. Sure, you can wear this with any color, but it looks especially gorgeous with emerald peepers. Sadly, I don't have green eyes, so I added a pop of green at the bottom to represent Kristen's eyes. If you have a pair of your own, simply skip the green!

OMG Gorgeous! Your look is waaaaaay better than Kristin Stewarts!!! Love the subtle green!
ReplyDeleteWould you be willing to show us the exact cranberry color you used on the palette?
THANK YOU!! And absolutely..here ya go! http://i54.tinypic.com/255qon6.jpg
ReplyDeleteAmazing! I like your version waayyy better thank Kristin Stewart's
ReplyDeleteI have a cranberry eyeshadow and I love red eyeshadow looks but somehow you can use the exact same colours that I use and it will still look like a combination that I've never seen before and that I just HAVE to try. Fantastic look. I have green-blue-grey-ish eyes and I'm going to try and do something like this. I'll probably end up frustrating myself because it won't look the same ;)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, long story short: your look rules!
Thanks Lisaane! I know exactly what you mean...I always see look that I want to re-create and they never turn out how they look in the pictures. But what I do is experiment a lot. And when I apply my eyeshadows, I spray my brush with a fix spray (I use the one by makeup forever) and dip it into the eyeshadow, and it intensifies the color like crazy!!
ReplyDeleteit looks stunning on you!
ReplyDeleteyou work errrything tho(;

wow u truly are amazing... you're like a really pretty doll come alive :)
ReplyDeleteonce again....GORGEOUS!! I like yours way better!
ReplyDeleteI agree, your look is way more gorgeous!! I'm secretly super jealous of all your looks, you are way too talented for your own good!! :P I'm too scared to use red shadow, what with my skin coloring, it'll look sickly lol
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize it, but your eye shadows are quite similar aren't they? Very bedroom eyes.
ReplyDeleteAnd everyone's right - your look is much better.
You guys are amazing and sure know how to make a girl blush! <3
ReplyDelete@Eden-Avalon, Haha yes! I absolutely adoooore smokey, come-hither eyes! A lot of my readers seem to love them as well. I'm working on some non-smokey looks though...those are coming up pretty soon :)
Hello!!
ReplyDeleteHave you channel in youtube? I am interested in, ahhhhh, am of espaƱa, a kiss!!
I love the richness of that red and the ever so subtle hint of green on the inner corner. Very well constructed and goes beautifully with your chestnut colored eyes. This would be an amazing fall look, or perfect for a Christmas party.
ReplyDeleteRed is such a hard color to make work, I tried a look somewhat similar to this and I looked like I'd been punched in the face, lol. So, good job!
This is so pretty, perfect look for fall! Your pictures always looks so amazing...what kind of lighting do you take your photos in? Do you use flash or no? I'm having so many issues with lighting :/
ReplyDeleteI've always love that look! Thanks for recreating it. Looks fabulous on your brown eyes too!
ReplyDeletewow I LOVE this! I so want to try a cranberry look
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! It means a lot to me :)
ReplyDelete@Amanda, I use a combination of natural lighting and a desk lamp. It's still not enough, so I have to use flash. I use a soft flash mode on my camera so it doesn't wash out a lot of the color, but sometimes, it still does. That's when photoshop comes in handy. A lot of times it washes out the black in my makeup, making it look grey, so I simply darken the part that have been washed out. Hope that makes sense! :)
Simply gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteYou nailed it!!! You did an amazing job!
ReplyDeleteomg i love this. i am so ready for fall, and this is perfect :]
ReplyDeleteGorgeous job!
ReplyDeleteStunning! Can I request a 'Vampire Diaries' series when the new series start? :) Wish I was as good with shadow!
