OMG! I am the Queen MakeupBee!

Where are my grapes? Where's my jester!? Haha, I'm totally kidding guys! I was so ecstatic when I was contacted by Tiomi, co-founder of the awesome website, and she asked me if I would like to be the first queen bee for the month of September....I gladly accepted of course; it is such an honor!
My initial reaction:

I also did a short interview with Timoi for the feature:

"Our First featured QueenMakeupbee of September is Veronica aka Ronnie. She is the owner of Bows and Curtseys blog and a fellow makeup/beauty afficiando in this great, big world.Veronica is currently the most followed Makeupbee in our Makeupbee Community. Based on votes by fellow Makeupbees, many of her looks also end up on TOP LOOKS and HOT looks page very quickly. Her blog is a super fun place to visit! You will browse through many beautiful makeup looks and can also learn how to create them with step by step picture tutorials. She finds inspirations for her makeup looks from all sources, the weather, books, TV show characters and even her blog layout.  It is amazing and wonderful to see how she turns her inspirations into beautiful works of makeup art."

1. Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging mostly for fun, and to get my work out there for others to see and get inspired. I love being creative and sharing it with everyone, it's so much fun! I also wanted to use my blog as sort of an online portfolio.

2. Any advice for new beauty bloggers out there?

I am still fairly new as well, and I still learning new things everyday, but the best advice I can give so far  is don't give up! It took me a while to get followers and readers. I stared at the number zero for quite some time, haha. Post often, and be creative and different. Get yourself out there and communicate with other bloggers...don't be shy! :)

3. What are your must have beauty items and why?

This has always been such a tough question for me! There are tons of products I cannot live without. Black eyeliner is my number one, then I'd go with my MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation, and a bright pink lipstick!

4. Why should another makeup lover join Makeupbee?

If you love and enjoy makeup, then Makeupbee is your go to place. You have other makeup lovers and addicts just like you on there sharing their amazing work with everyone. It's the perfect place to gawk and get inspiration from others. I have found so many great bloggers because of makeupbee...I wish it were around sooner!

I created a blog post not too long ago explaining what makeupbee is all about. Check it out HERE if you are interested. Click Here for my profile! Don't forget to sign up, either! It's loads of fun, I promise.

It feels good to be Queen, even it it's just for 2 weeks! I am definitely going to do my best with this new title of mine...Have a great weekend everyone, and thank you for always being so amazing.
