Precious Metals

Hello, my pretties...Hope your weekend was spectacular (mine sure was)! I really wanted to go to Beautylish's Beauty Social, but I didn't get a chance to purchase tickets. Oh well, there's always next time! If you went, I'd love to hear your experience!

Anyway, here is a look that I created last night on a whim. I used shades of silver, grey, black, gold and bronze. I think my eye color kind of blends into the look, but this would look AH-MA-ZING on someone with blue peepers.

FACE:
  • Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Buff
  • Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Light 20
  • MAC Studio Fix Powder in NC20

EYES:
  • Urban Decay Primer Potion
  • Urban Decay Naked Palette (Half Baked, Smog, Gun Metal and Creep)
  • Wet N Wild Eyeshadow in Black
  • Maybelline Master Drama Eyeliner in Black
  • Maybelline One by One Mascara in Black

CHEEKS:
  • Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights Intermix

LIPS:
  • ELF Studio Lip Gloss in Dragon Fruit
CHA-CHING!

I really hope you enjoyed this look! I believe it's great for fall, winter, or for any night time event. You can even add some glitter to kick it up a notch.

I have another collaboration going up this week with the lovely Dawn (Siryn), Meredith and Kassie, so stay tuned!

  1. I need to invest in a thesaurus, because "amazing" and "incredible" and "i love this!" just arent enough anymore. But until then --- I LOVE THIS!

  3. I looove this and the sooty-ness of it. I have brown eyes, too, and tend to avoid bronzes or any "brown" colors because I feel the same... my iris just blends with it. Regardless, it doesn't make the makeup any less stunning. :-D

  4. I love this! And I think it looks stunning on you since your eyes match perfectly!

It's also a really versatile look since you could sub the bronze for any color. :D

  6. I love what you've done here. There are actually few dark looks out there using the Naked palette, so this is extra awesome in my opinion.

  7. This one is just super pretty! Really makes your eyes pop when you're using a different colour on the lower lash line.
