Queen Makeupbee Deluxe Sample Reviews

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been MIA for a bit...lots of stuff have been going on lately so I've been quite a busy bee. Hope you're all well. Just want to take a second to welcome all of my new followers! I hope you guys enjoy my blog...I'm glad to have you here; make yourself at home!

Anyway, I have some reviews/swatches for you guys of the samples I received from Ti of Makeupbee for being the first September queen bee! I was so excited upon receiving the package, I was like a child on Christmas morning!

The samples:

Lise Waiter Neon Lash & Line Glitter Duo in Peacock
Image property of Lise Watier

When I first glanced at this liner/mascara duo, I was mesmerized by the gorgeous glitter particles in notes of turquoise, blue, and tourmaline. I was also in awe of the liner/mascara wand applicator! It is definitely a unique product. The company claims that this product is long wearing, non-streaking, water based and 100% glitter. Needless to say, I was eager to try this one out! Sadly, I was a tad disappointed. I was expecting a flawless line, but all I got was a splotchy line. I had to go over the same area thrice to be satisfied. Besides that though, this stuff really did wear for a LONG, LONG time. It doesn't budge! This product was so-so.

Lancome Hypnose Mascara in Deep Black
Image property of Lancome
This mascara is great! I didn't like it too much at first, but I fell more and more in love the more often I'd use it. It goes on super thick but doesn't clump. It creates in-your-face volume and it is no match for wimpy lashes. I usually need two coats of mascara, but I only need one with this one, which is superb! I believe you can pull of two coats for the extra bold, false-lash look. It wears pretty well, and I hardly got any flaking, which is a plus! I definitely recommed this product, and it is well worth the $25 price tag.

Sasatinnie Aloe Facial Mask
Image property of Sasa.com

Company's description:

"Sasa Aloe Paper Mask contains Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract that refines
your skin texture and controls the oil secretion. It also helps to reduce
inflammation and prevent clogged pores. Algae Extract and Glycerin nourish
and moisturize your skin for a healthy and radiant look. It contains a strong
anti-oxidant agent—Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, which help prevent aging."

I was pleasantly surprised with this paper aloe mask! I thought, "Meh, what can be so special about it?" I was wrong. I saw an almost immediate and dramatic difference in my skin. Not only does it smell heavenly, but it made my skin look like it was glowing from within, it was moisturized, my pores were visibly shrunken, and most importantly, it controlled my shine throughout most of the day. I have sensitive skin and I didn't get any burning or irritation, just a slight tingling sensation during the 15 minutes I had it on. That led me to believe that it's working! The only thing I didn't like about this product was the shape and cut outs of the mask. I looked like Leo in "Man in the Iron Mask". Besides that minor flaw, I will totally purchase these in the near future!

I have absolutely no makeup on in the before and after pics, and as you can see, the most dramatic difference is the size of my pores and the reduced redness around my nose and cheeks. I am so very impressed!

See the difference? AMAZING and completely unexpected.

  4. The mascara looks lovely :) Not sure if I would drop that much on a mascara though.

  5. Awesome post! I just thought I'd let you know the mascara you showed is just the regular Lancome Hypnose. Hypnose Drama has a squiggly brush.

    Like that!

I've had both mascara's though, and I found Hypnose Drama to be better than the regular Hypnose. They also came out with a Doll Lashes version:
