Hello, my beautiful readers! It's time for yet another MakeupBee collaboration...this time featuring Lime Crime Makeup.
The Queen Bees were given one Carousel Lipgloss, one lipstick, two shadows and one Eyeshadow Helper and were instructed to create two looks with the products. I am very fortunate to own all five of the Carousel glosses and it was really tough to choose just one to create a look with. I went ahead and picked Kaleidoscope, which is an extremely pigmented plum/purple with flecks of turquoise sparkle. It is absolutely beautiful. For the eyes, I picked the eyeshadow perfectly named Empress, a vibrant royal purple. I paired it along with a deep blue and turquoise to compliment the lip gloss.
- Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Buff
- MAC Studio Fix Powder in NC20
- Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper
- Lime Magic Dust Eyeshadow in Empress in inner half of lids (applied wet)
- Wet N Wild Color Icon Palette in Pride (white on brow bone and inner corner, mix of blues on outer lids, and turquoise above crease)
- NYX Eyeshadow in Black on outer-v and crease.
- Wet N Wild Liquid Liner in Black
- Maybelline Eyeliner in Blue
- Ardell Lashes
- Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
- MAC Blush in Dame
- Lime Crime Carousel Gloss in Kaleidoscope

I am in love with these eyeshadows! I own two other shades (Circus Girl and Mischief Managed), and they are all equally gorgeous. They are loose pigments that are super vibrant, vegan and cruelty-free, and apply like a dream. I love that they can work wet or dry and still look good both ways. Applying it wet will greatly intensify the color. I recommend using a fix spray or eye drops instead of just plain ol' water.
The shadow lasts for hours on it's own, and even longer with the Eyeshadow Helper. It's smooth to the touch and goes on evenly.
Empress is a medium toned vibrant royal purple with flecks of shimmer. This color is the perfect shade of purple; not too dark, not too light. Je Adore!

Alright. You all know how much I love(d) my NYX Eyeshadow Base and Urban Decay Primer Potion. This stuff blows those away. THIS STUFF IS MAGICAL. I have tried so many primers and this is by far the best I have tried, and I believe the best on the market. It is a nude, neutral shade that glides on perfectly and the tackiness is just right. It is waterproof and makes my shadows last for hours and hours (probably 24 hours if I let it happen!).
Seriously, this stuff DOES NOT budge. I tested it out on my hand with Empress over it....I wiped it, vigorously scrubbed, scratched, poured water over it...and it just doesn't move! Only way it came off was using an oil based makeup remover with a wash cloth. I am seriously super impressed with this primer and will recommend it to anyone looking for a long lasting primer. And yes, it even works on oily lids! BRAVO! (Also, how stinkin' cute is the packaging?!)

This lip gloss is unlike any other I have tried. Kaleidoscope is a purple gloss with blue/turquoise sparkles. Not only is it striking, but the color payoff and pigmentation is insane! I was not expecting these to be so intense with just one swipe. They practically go on like a lipstick. These also last quite a while too, and leave behind a nice stain on your lips after you wipe it off (some may not like that, but I do). It is a bit on the sticky side, but that only helps with the lasting power. Very impressed with these glosses, and I am so glad and fortunate to own all five in the collection.
I also really like the small brush applicator. It totally helps apply the product evenly, and makes it easier to get into those small, tight spaces. It smells like vanilla, too!
If lip gloss is your thing, definitely check these out HERE.
