Wistful Wonderland

I don't know about you, but I am a hardcore dreamer. I often catch myself wandering off and creating my very own wonderland in my crazy little mind where I can escape to when life gives me lemons (I'm not a huge lemonade fan). I have weird, vivid dreams that would put Tim Burton to shame! I'm telling you, they need to be made into movies. Some call it zoning out, but it helps with my creativity! Maybe it's just my Pisces nature....I wanted to create a look that was dreamy, whimsical, mysterious, dark, yet colorful and full of fantasy, and this is what I came up with!

I used my brand new Sigma Paris Palette which I am SO in love with! It has the perfect mix of neutrals and colors, plus two blushes, a highlighter, an eyeshadow brush and a blush brush. Not only is it gorgeous, but it's multi-functional. Let me know if you guys would be interested in seeing a review with swatches.

On with the look!

I am definitely wearing this again when I have the chance. It does wonders for my eyes! I'm thinking of possibly filming a tutorial for this...we shall see!

If you own the Sigma Paris Palette, what are your thoughts on it? Love it, or leave it? Also, let me know if you guys would be interested in a review.

Take care, and I'll see you all next week!

" These lashes may be demure in length but have a personality all their own. The alternating short and long strands create beautiful volume. "

These lashes are a great way to add volume and drama without getting too wild and crazy. They have a pretty thick band, but are super comfortable to wear. I almost forgot I had these on...very lightweight and pretty! I'm really diggin' these lashes. Check them out at

A big part of the inspiration for this look came from this outrageously beautiful look created by the one and only Meredith Jessica from Pigments & Palettes (aka my #1 fan). Click the image of her gorgeous eyeball to be taken directly to her look!

Hope you all enjoyed this ridiculously sexy look. These types of looks are my favorite - dark and dreamy. I think they make my eyes stand out like crazy.

As you might have noticed in the product list, I used a few eyeshadows from MakeupGeek. I was sent 12 of them to review, so keep an eye out for a review, look and swatches! I also have a couple of other reviews coming up (Drama Queen Cosmetics, Victorian Disco Cosmetics and Lime Crime's Palette D'Antoinette) so be on the lookout.

Stay happy and healthy, and I'll see you again soon!

Gold Digger

"Get down girl, go 'head get down".

Totally appropriate name, right? Gimmie a break, I couldn't think of anything else! I've been dying to use SugarPill's Goldilux loose eyeshadow for a while now. It's the prettiest gold shadow I've ever had the pleasure to lay my eyes on. Sadly, I only had a sample baggie and had just enough to create this look. It's so worth buying the whole jar though, it's marvelous.

I'm also introducing a mini collaboration with! They were kind enough to send me six pairs of luxurious lashes to use on upcoming looks. I know you're going to love them! I'm wearing the first pair in this look.

So this is what I came up with. It's dark, sexy, and mysterious. The winged shadow and slanted lashes take it to a whole new level and give you an instant sex appeal (not me though, because I'm just awkward). This would be ideal on blue eyes (golds and bronzes are killer on them) but it works with every eye color, honestly.

Add a contrasting color to your water-line for an unexpected pop.

  • Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Buff
  • MAC Studio Fix Powder in N4

  • Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper
  • L'Oreal Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner in Black as a base
  • SugarPill Loose Eyeshadow in Goldilux on inner lids
  • Beauty From the Earth (BFTE) Eyeshadow in Whimsey
  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Smog
  • NYX Eyeshadow in Black
  • BH Cosmetics 120 Eyeshadow Palette, light shimmery gold on brow bone and tearduct
  • Wet N Wild Liquid Eyeliner in Black
  • Faux Lashes in Dark Slants

  • Hard Candy Fox in a Box Blush in Spicy and Sweet
  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Buck as contour
  • Revlon Skin Lights Face Illuminator in Golden Light as cheek highlight

  • Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Born With It
  • SugarPill Eyeshadow in Goldilux

"Meow! These fluffy slanted lashes give you instant sex appeal. The jet black graduated strands extend and elongate the eye."

These lashes are intense, but beautiful. and crazy comfortable to wear. They instantly make your eyes look more elongated and cat-like. I felt like Cleopatra while I was wearing them. I love how soft they are and the flexible band is a definite win. The band length was just right too, not too long, not too short. No trimming was required for me! Check them out HERE.

Minty Madness

Guess who's back (back)? Back again (gain)? Ronnie's back (back), tell a friend (friend)! Guess who's back, guess who's back, guess who's back, guess who's back...DA NA NA!

Yes, I had to quote an Eminem song...

HEY GUYS! Yes, I am finally back after a longer-than-expected hiatus. Did you guys miss me? Because I definitely missed you. As most of you know, I took a break late March due to stupid life stuff, but now my mind is refreshed, and ready to go!

So with that said, here is refreshingly colorful, yet bold look for you. Mint is a huge color this season, so I thought I'd create a look using the shade. I tend to shy away from this color in my looks because it can be quite intimidating, so I gave it an edge with the purple liner. I am really pleased with the way it turned out, and I think it's the perfect way to get back into the swing of things!

  • Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Buff
  • MAC Studio FIx Powder in N4

  • Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper
  • Wet N Wild Color Icon Palette in Pride (Mint and White shades on lid)
  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Blackout to define crease and lower lids
  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Naked and Buck to blend out Blackout
  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Foxy and Bootycall on browbone
  • Wet N Wild Liquid Liner in Black
  • Lime Crime Eyeshadow in Empress (applied wet as eyeliner)
  • Fantasy Makers Eyeshadow in Shimmery Purple to highlight center of purple liner
  • Rimmel ScandalEyes Mascara in Blackest Black
  • Ardell Double Up Lashes in #203 Black

  • CoverGirl Cheekers Blush in Pretty Peach

  • Mary Kay Liquid Lip Color in Sherbet (newest addiction, thanks Chelsey!)

I really hope you guys liked this look, and even more so, I hope it was worth the hiatus!
I've truly, madly, deeply missed every single one of you! I really appreciate those of you who've told me that they cannot wait for me to start blogging again. It means the world to me! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You all definitely know how to make me smile. Love you feels great to be back!

Also, I have some super exciting stuff coming up that I cannot wait to tell you guys about, but I have to keep my mouth zipped in the mean time. EEEK!

I hope you all are well, happy and healthy. See you soon, and have a great week!
