Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette and Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick Review/Giveaway Courtesy of

Hello everyone! Not too long ago, I was contacted by Planet Beauty and was asked if I was interested in reviewing some of their products for you guys and also host a giveaway of the same products that I am reviewing! If you're not familiar with the company, Planet Beauty is a privately owned, upscale beauty retailer that was founded in Newport Beach, California in 1992. With over 30 stores state-wide and, Planet Beauty offers over 20,000 professional beauty products in makeup, skincare, haircare, styling tools, bath, and fragrance.

Since they offer such a wide variety of products, I had a bit of a hard time picking what I wanted to review. I ended up going with Too Faced because it's a brand that I've always wanted to try and I've heard many great things about them as well. I picked the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette and the Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Fuchsia.

Keep on reading for a full review, swatches and how to enter the giveaway for your chance to win these goodies!

Some or all products shown in this post may have been provided by the said brand(s) and/or website(s) for potential review and/or use. For more information, please read my DISCLAIMER.

The Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette is a compact palette that contains nine versatile natural shades that compliments a wide variety of skin tones. You can create anything from a simple, barely there look, to a glamorous, dark and smokey look. The sleek packaging is great! With it's nude, pink and gold tones and subtle lace background, it gives it an all around fancy look. It's a tin palette with a magnetic closure. It's hinged, so it will stay open if you want to use the mirror that's inside the palette.
Exterior cardboard packaging of the palette.

The palette is laid out in three different rows. The top row are the "Day" colors, the middle row are the "Classic" colors and the bottom row are the "Fashion" colors. Of course, it is totally up to you on how you decide to use these eyeshadows. You can use them they way they are set up or mix and match. I also love the names of these eyeshadows as well!

Every single one of these eyeshadows are highly pigmented and extremely long-lasting. I don't even need to wear a primer with these! They stay put and they look great all day and night. The matte shades in this palette are so silky, smooth and buttery that I want to just rub them between my fingers all day long. They feel SO creamy and that makes them glide on the lids with ease and makes blending a dream. This is something I look for in matte eyeshadows because a lot of them are usually powdery and do not apply or blend evenly. These are far from powdery or chalky. The shimmery shades are just as smooth and pigmented. They are more intense than the mattes since they do contain shimmer and you can play them up or down, depending on how you apply them.

Heaven is a matte, neutral light beige that is great for highlighting the brow bone and inner corners if you have a fair to medium skin tone and want a toned down look.

Cashmere Bunny is a cool, matte medium brown and it works well as both a transitioning shade and to lightly darken a look.

Sexpresso is a dark, slightly warm matte brown that works well as a shade to apply in the crease and outer corners.

Silk Teddy is a light, shimmery beige that works beautifully as an inner corner highlight or all over the lids for a light wash of color and shimmer. I also use this to highlight my face!

Push-Up is a warm, shimmery taupe-y, rose-gold color that is gorgeous as a main lid color.

Erotica is a medium-dark brown shade that has a matte base with some gold sparkles. The sparkle isn't as intense once it's applied to the skin.

Nudie is a matte light brown shade that's a bit on the warm side and it is so versatile. You can use it in the crease, outer corners, and also as a contour.

Honey Pot is a medium gold that has loads of shimmer and has a slightly metallic-looking finish.

Chocolate Martini is a warm dark brown that has a matte base but it is packed with lots of gold shimmer and glitter.

Swatches applied on bare skin with finger. Two coats.

The palette also comes with a handy How-To Guide that shows you how to create a look using each row (Day, Classic and Fashion). This is great for people that are beginners or for someone that is not quite sure what kind of look they want to create with this palette.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this palette. I think I can go ahead and say that I love this palette more than any of the Urban Decay Naked palettes (I know, that says a lot)! Not saying that the Naked palettes aren't amazing, I just prefer this one because it has all the shades that you need for a simple look but it also has shade that can create a more dramatic look. Plus, it's compact. The palette is small enough to carry in a purse. There are many similar products like this on the market. There seems to be a Naked-Nude-Natural craze these last few years and it can get a little overwhelming trying to decide on what to get. If you're in the market for a versatile and compact palette that offers gorgeous natural shades, then this is one that you may enjoy. I personally use this palette almost every day and I adore it. The Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette retails for $36. Check it out here.

The Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks are the newest craze in the beauty world. You get the staying power of a stain, the intense color of a liquid lipstick and the high shine of a gloss. These are really cool and unlike any other lip product that I have come across. I chose the shade Fuchsia, which is a bright, almost neon purple-y, pink. I personally think this color looks great on everyone and the blue base of this color helps make your teeth look whiter!

Exterior cardboard box packaging.
The packaging is sleek and simple. Depending on the shade of the product, the tube will be close to the actual color of the product inside. The product comes in a squeeze tube with a twist top.

To apply the lip product, you simply apply it to your lips directly from the packaging itself. No lip brush needed! The applicator is sort of like a larger, spongey, doe-foot applicator that has tiny holes on the inside that dispenses the product when you squeeze it.

I personally did not have problems applying this neatly to my lips. If you have smaller lips or if you like to be super precise, then applying this with a lip brush will make things easier for you.

You can get away with one coat of this, but I like to apply two coats for a more opaque look. The final look resembles a glossy lipstick and after it wears off your lips, you are left with a nice, matte stain. It goes on smooth and it is intensely vivid and pigmented! This left my lips feeling moisturized but I do recommend that you don't have any flakiness going on on your lips because this will cling and make dry lips more noticeable. There is a slight minty smell but nothing overwhelming. Once it's on the smell is not noticeable. It feels very comfortable on the lips, much like wearing a regular lipstick. It does not feel gloopy like a heavy and sticky lip gloss. It's definitely long lasting (a few hours), but not as long as other "long wear" lipsticks. It's also not difficult to remove from your lips.

I really like this product! The color is absolutely gorgeous and I love that this product is unique and it's so simple to apply as well. It does go on a tiny bit streaky (at least this shade does), but it's nothing a few swipes can't fix. The longevity and comfort makes up for that in my opinion. If you've been looking for some new lip products, then check these out. It's not quite a lipstick and not quite a gloss. If I could compare it to any other product, I'd say it most closely resembles an OCC Lip Tar, only thicker and longer wearing (only because this leaves a stain). The Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks retail for $21. Check them out here.
