Wistful Wonderland

I don't know about you, but I am a hardcore dreamer. I often catch myself wandering off and creating my very own wonderland in my crazy little mind where I can escape to when life gives me lemons (I'm not a huge lemonade fan). I have weird, vivid dreams that would put Tim Burton to shame! I'm telling you, they need to be made into movies. Some call it zoning out, but it helps with my creativity! Maybe it's just my Pisces nature....I wanted to create a look that was dreamy, whimsical, mysterious, dark, yet colorful and full of fantasy, and this is what I came up with!

I used my brand new Sigma Paris Palette which I am SO in love with! It has the perfect mix of neutrals and colors, plus two blushes, a highlighter, an eyeshadow brush and a blush brush. Not only is it gorgeous, but it's multi-functional. Let me know if you guys would be interested in seeing a review with swatches.

On with the look!

FACE:
  • Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Buff
  • MAC Studio Fix Powder in N4

EYES:
  • Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper
  • Sigma Eyeshadow in Versailles on tearduct and brow bone
  • Sigma Eyeshadow in Orsay all over lids
  • Sigma Eyeshadow in Seine in crease
  • Sigma Eyeshadow in Eiffel in crease to deepen Seine
  • Sigma Eyeshadow in Lourve on lower lids
  • Sigma Eyeshadow in Elysees to blend out Seine
  • ELF Cream Eyeliner in Black
  • Rimmel Scandal Eyes Mascara in Extreme Black
  • FAUX Lashes in Black Sparkle

CHEEKS:
  • Sigma Blush in Rouge as contour
  • Sigma Blush in Peche
  • Sigma Highlighter in Lumiere

LIPS:
  • Mary Kay Liquid Lip Color in Sherbet

I hope you all enjoyed this look as much I did. I was actually really hesitant to wash this off (I did it at night right before I was going to shower). I am definitely wearing this again when I have the chance. It does wonders for my eyes! I'm thinking of possibly filming a tutorial for this...we shall see!

If you own the Sigma Paris Palette, what are your thoughts on it? Love it, or leave it? Also, let me know if you guys would be interested in a review.

Take care, and I'll see you all next week!

  1. Woaaah this is so gorgeous! I love it when you use petrol/turquoise shades because they just go so well with your eyecolor *___* Amazing work!
Atutorial would be really cool :D I'd love to see how you did that step by step. But a picture+text tutorial would also do the trick, don't know which would be easier to make ^^

  2. TiffanyD gave me the Paris palette for my birthday and I LOVE IT! Everything about it is perfect. The brushes are awesome, the shadows are so smooth and pigmented, and the blushes are gorgeous. It's definitely been an amazing addition to my collection!

I love your look using the shadows. I'd been wondering how to incorporate Seine, Louvre, and Orsay into looks! Also, have you tried Triomphe yet?! It changes colors! My mind was blown! lol

  10. Sometimes these looks you do make me want to print out a picture of your eyeball and hang it on my wall just so I can look at it haha.  That sounds totally creepy.  I swear I won't do that haha!  This is just so pretty!

  14. Not only did I love this look the minute I saw it on facebook but I'm so happy you have the Sigma Paris palette!!! I bought it also but haven't tried out the bright colors yet. I love the palette and I really love that a company was willing to create such a product with youtube beauty gurus (I've been following xsparkage for years).
At first I thought the price was a little high, but if you follow any of the creators you get a $10 off code...plus the colors and the 2 brushes just looked like it was worth it. And I can't stress enough how excited I am that a company not only collaborated with youtube gurus but actually flew them to Paris! That was worth it to me. I'm glad I bought it!

  27. Much like Picasso in his Blue Period, you seem to be in a Teal Period. Keep it up, it does wonders for your eyes and complexion! It really makes your eyes read more amber than brown which is just stunning.

But luckily it said your name on it and I'm already a follower so I just did a search) anyway I was wondering if you ever did a tutorial for this? And if not maybe you could think about doing one now :) I really love this look!
