I've Got My Eyes on You - Halloween Makeup

I spy with my little eye...a totally creepy and fun Halloween makeup look that will definitely give you plenty of stares! I was inspired by this image that I had stumbled upon a couple of years ago and I have been in love with it ever since. The original artist is is named Naomi Campbell and her look was inspired by Tim Burton's "The Girl with Many Eyes". If you know anything about me, I absolutely love Tim Burton and his artwork, and this is why this makeup look stood out to me. I decided to give it my own twist and positioned the eyes a little different, and I added false lashes to each eye. This look was time consuming (3 hours to be exact), and removing the eyelash glue from my face was a pain, but I really liked the end result! I think it was worth it.

Original makeup look I was inspired by:

Tim Burton's Artwork and Poem
"The Girl With Many Eyes"

One day in the park
I had quite a surprise.
I met a girl
who had many eyes.
She was really quite pretty
(and also quite shocking!)
and I noticed she had a mouth,
so we ended up talking.
We talked about flowers,
and her poetry classes,
and the problems she'd have
if she ever wore glasses.
It's great to know a girl
who has so many eyes,
but you really get wet
when she breaks down and cries.

  3. So creepy, but so good! My dogs used to do the same thing to me when I wore different makeup than they were used to. One went so far to snarl at me until I talked to her and she must have recognized my voice.
