Grand Prismatic Spring Inspired Look

“There may be a great fire in our soul, yet no one ever comes to warm himself at it, and the passers-by see only a wisp of smoke.”

Anyone else really into orange and yellow tones right now? They’re so bright and fun and fit in well with summer and can easily transition into fall using more muted and deepened versions of these shades. Think blood orange and mustard shades. When I was creating this look I added the ombré waterline as a last minute decision but I’m glad I did because I felt like it took it to the next level and that color combo reminds me of the Grand Prismatic Spring at Yellowstone National Park which is one of the most stunning wonders this world offers!

On the center of the lid and lower lid I used Flamepoint eyeshadow by @sugarpill and to deepen the inner and outer edges I used Tajin eyeshadow by @urbandecaycosmetics. To blend those out and to smoke it out I used the most amazing yellow ever, Buttercupcake, also by Sugarpill. On the inner corner I used Leo+Brixton by Urban Decay with are both duo-chrome shades that reflect teal/aqua. On the waterline, I started with a white eyeliner as a base and created an ombré effect with patting on Lime Time, LCW, TRM and a tiny bit of Bye - all from the Kaleidoscope Dream palette by Urban Decay.
